Samsung has announced its next 4G capable Android smart phone, the Samsung Infuse 4G. The Infuse 4G will be made available exclusively on AT&T from the second quarter of 2011.

The handset is powered by a 1.2 GHz single core Hummingbird processor. Despite using a 1.2 GHz processor, the Infuse is expected to be the slimmest smart phone in the market. The mobile device unfortunately will not run Android 2.3 and will instead run Android 2.2. The Infuse has two cameras. This includes an 8 megapixel rear camera which is capable of recording in high definition and a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera for video calling.

The handset features a massive 4.5 inch capacitive touch screen. The screen uses Samsung’s latest super AMOLED plus . The super AMOLED display increases the number of sub-pixels by up to 50% and hence provides a very crisp and enhanced display. The screen has a resolution of 480×800 pixels.

The Infuse 4G has a Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) radio, supports Bluetooth connectivity, HSPA + and GPS. The smart phone has a 3.5 mm jack for audio.
